Weave - Group Flow
Welcome to the Weave. We are Woven Web, a community in active exploration around the intersectionality of technology, society, nature, and self; seeking to bring people together to engage in meaningful dialogue and foster genuine coherence in our community in Boulder and beyond.

Reflections on our AI systems sharing
This last Thursday we had another delightful sharing systems meetup, this time with a strong emphasis around AI. We began the evening with some introductions and open discussion around the topic of AI, which gave us a really beautiful sense of where everyone is at in relation to this topic; people’s excitements, fears, curiosities, etc…
We had some really vibrant shares (documented here), exploring what’s going on in the world of AI, how it can be used to support the building of technology, how we can use it to help connect people together, and more. These spaces are becoming a really cool opportunity to weave our minds and our efforts in the technology space; and begin to track what’s happening this larger technological ecosystem and how we can play a part in fostering more connectivity and nudging it in healthier directions. Next month we’ll be diving into some deeper discussion around the future of the internet and distributed web technologies, to tap into some of the energy that’s flowing with ETHDenver happening next week.
Lively dialogue, synergizing systems
Group Flow & Improv Night
Here’s an interesting tidbit about Woven Web and Group Flow. Woven Web began as Consciousness Hacking Colorado. The founder of the original Consciousness Hacking organization is Mikey Siegel. Mikey has long been at the forefront of exploring a new paradigm of technology, particularly using it to support deeper human connection. One project that Mikey worked on after stepping away from running CoHack full time, was called GroupFlow, and used biofeedback technology, with glowing lights people held representing their heartbeat, to foster a shared experience of interoception which enabled people to get into flow together very effectively and efficiently. We’re excited to be part of this lineage of innovation, and to discover what unique contributions we’ll be able to make.
One of the strong goals for Woven Web in this new chapter of our development is to deeply explore what it looks like to foster connected communities that are able to be in a creative and participatory flow together. If we’re going to address some of the major issues we face in the world, and help foster a more connected and thriving society, we’re really going to have to learn to work together. And working together well often starts from playing together well.
In that spirit, we'll be gathering together this coming Thursday (2/22) at Myco Cafe at 530pm for another evening of games and improv. Let's come together as a community and explore what it is to play and flow together. There will be board games, connection games, improv games, clowning games, and more. We’d love your participation.
Coming up in the community
Next weeks Woven Web event will be another regenerative potluck on Tuesday (2/27) at 530pm at the MycoCosm community home. We’re excited to gather together, share food and explore how we can participate in the regenerative movement in Boulder.
A number of Woven Web folks will also be down at EthDenver next week, as well as a side event hosted by our friend Gary Sheng, EdgeCity. If you’ll be down there let us know so we can connect. W'e’re excited to weave the energy from that into our community through our events next month!
Thanks for tuning in. Reply to this email and let us know what you’re thinking and how you’d like to engage with community. And forward this email to someone who you’d like to participate more in community with!
See you in the web,
