Weaving Boulder’s Regeneration
Last Wednesday, Woven Web and Climatique teamed up to bring together a number of regenerative leaders from around the community. We had representatives from organizations such as Woven Web, Climatique, 350CO, Conservation Colorado, Friends Farm, Rocky Mountain Peace & Justice Center, Regen Hub, Open Civics, CoolBoulder, and the City of Boulder; alongside many other leaders from the community. We have such an abundance of amazing humans here who are engaged in deeply meaningful work to help support the regeneration of life on earth, starting within our local ecology and community. Coming together and sharing food and togetherness is an amazing way to not only discover how our movements and organizations can more effectively weave together, but to actively embody the regenerative principles of being in relationship with each other and with the earth.
There are so many ways to weave deeper with Boulder’s Regeneration. Organizations such as Drylands Agroecology Research, Yellow Barn Farm, and Niwot Homestead regularly create opportunities to get involved. Or if like me, you travel via bike and don’t like to leave Boulder too often, you might volunteer at Dharma's Garden or Growing Gardens. You can also stay in touch with an abundance of aligned events listed at boulder.earth or CoolBoulder. And don’t forget that some of the most important work we can do is in our own yards and in our own neighborhoods, planting gardens, planting trees, sharing food with friends, and connecting with community while supporting local farmers at the farmers market. And check out the list below for some awesome events coming up in community!
